ABOUT
At the heart of JG Antiquary Co. is a reverence for history. There is a vitality that still pulses through antique objects and works of art. These pieces are vessels of memory, beauty, and spirit. They carry the fingerprints of time, and yet, when seen through the eyes of the present, they awaken something entirely new. I believe collecting is an act of recognition: of craftsmanship, of story, of enduring soul. And in that spirit, every item I have the pleasure of curating is remembered, revived, and re-honored, until it finds its new steward.
About JG Antiquary Co
My name is Jessica Ghyvoronsky. I am an appraiser, collector, and the founder of JG Antiquary Co., a shop and appraisal practice in Seattle devoted to beautiful, storied objects that have survived the passage of time and still evoke something meaningful.
I hold degrees in Interdisciplinary Visual Arts and Philosophy from the University of Washington, and a master’s in Visual Art from Azusa Pacific University. I've completed the Comprehensive Appraisal Studies Program with the Appraiser's Association of America, where I am currently an Associate Member.
My appraisal practice was shaped under the mentorship of Scott Singer of Singer Galleries, a trusted figure in the field for over four decades. There, I was given the kind of education no classroom can teach - the daily handling of rare and precious objects, and the responsibility that comes with them.
Today, I am USPAP-compliant through 2026. I work with private collectors, nonprofits, and institutions alike, offering fine art and personal property appraisals that are equal parts thorough, ethical, and deeply considered.
This shop is my studio, my library, and my quiet rebellion against the disposable. It’s a place where history is held in the hand, where provenance matters, and where beauty and scholarship meet. I truly love this world. If you find yourself here: curious, nostalgic, or simply in need of something meaningful, you are most welcome.
